WHAT IS THE IACEA?

The Inter-American Conductive Education Association, Inc., is a non-profit 501(c)3 Corporation. IACEA was founded in the United States, May of 1992 and certified on June 23, 1992. The group is comprised of professionals, parents, and grandparents of people with Cerebral Palsy, and other neurological disabilities. The organization's reach is international and incorporates all of North America.

GOALS OF IACEA, INC.

To promote and disseminate the principles of Conductive Education, in the United States of America and Canada, using the services of parents, conductors, therapists, teachers, and other related health care professionals.

To qualify already trained conductors as new professionals to obtain health care, Medicare, Medicaid and private health insurance reimbursement, and, to train and certify Conductive Education practitioners working in the United States and Canada.

To maintain links with and expand the exchange of information about Conductive Education with the Petö Institute in Budapest, centers in Ireland, Israel, England, Canada, Hong Kong, and facilities and groups in the United States, and, to establish a resource center on Conductive Education.
